Get Your Mind Into It!

Weight loss (like everything else) starts with your mind and you should use your mind to help you get down to the weight that you want to be.  Research has shown that the cells in your body are all intelligent cells and they are constantly responding to your thoughts.  Research has also shown that the mind sees things in pictures and in stories.  So it would be helpful to you if you select the exact weight that you would like to be (yes, pick a number and zero in on it), also get pictures of how you would like to look (the picture can be of you at a smaller size or of someone else...such as a celebrity) and look at those pictures everyday, a really good practice is to look at the pictures just before you go to bed and close your eyes and imagine that you are now that size, just before you drift off to sleep, mentally see yourself having fun and enjoying your new smaller size body.  Another helpful practice is to write a story about yourself with you at your new chosen weight and read it each day.  Be sure to keep yourself motivated and keep going until you reach your goal!
